July 2018 saw the opening of the new design of the Round Dell at Borde Hill Garden. Envisioned by Sophie Walker, who is the youngest female winner of a Gold Medal for the Young Designer of the Year at the Chelsea Flower Show, it represents a canoe intrepidly exploring the wild sub-tropical jungles in search of rare plants, while the Long Dell will include a unique ‘Infinity Box’ installation with new and rare plants reflected in infinity mirrors. During the summer, Paradise Walk will be in full bloom with exotic and vibrant herbaceous planting, whilst the Rose Garden is a feast for the senses with the heavenly fragrance of over 700 David Austin roses.of melancholy.
